We are seeking outgoing individuals for a Travel Advisor opportunity. You must be self-motivated and have a passion about traveling and helping others. 

 

As a Travel Advisor you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all of the factors involved in a trip. This includes, but is not limited to; air, hotels/resorts, cruises, car rentals, theme park tickets, event tickets, and any other travel needs necessary for corporate and leisure travelers. 

The goal is to provide full service of excellence for all of our clients from the beginning of the trip to the end of the trip.

As An Independent Travel Agent

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be authorized to work within the US

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with clients 

  • Must have a smartphone with internet access, laptop recommended but not required

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus, but not required

  • Personal travel experience is a huge plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research, Create, and Execute personalized itineraries for clients

  • Review individual needs and wants for travel, to ensure you can create a trip designed to meet those needs

  • Work alongside other team members

  • Provide suggested budgets for clients

  • Review budgets and plan trips according to a client's budget 

  • Create promotional materials 

  • Stay up to date on changes within the tourism industry and travel requirements 

  • Book travel needs (air, car rental, hotel accommodations, cruises, ticket/event sales, and more)

  • Effectively communicate in a timely manner with client inquiries and pre/post travel

  • Effectively manage your time when researching trips and communicating with clients

  • Handle issues that may arise during bookings and/or travel for clients

  • Complete ongoing training to earn and maintain certification

  • Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers

  • Become an ambassador for the brand

  • Participate in FAM trips, when possible
